In the chaos of cleaning the house and wrapping presents for Iman and Tayeb's birthday last week I opened a book from my mom for my birthday ( a tad early). It has been inspirational, it is a photography book, showcasing a photographer's work and his tips for better photos, sounds simplistic, but his images alone are inspirational and it has given me the photo bug again. I take it as a sign of spring, it happens every year that I can't wait to get outside and take pictures as the weather warms, but a lot of his work is indoors using natural light, so I have had a few photo sessions with the kids in the past few days, otherwise, I have been buried in sap and maple syrup production which isn't as fun as it was the first week. I have offered to take pictures at a friend's home birth, which could be amazing, but the odds of that occurring at a time that is not impossible for my family aren't great. Basically she will have to go into labor during a weekend day and I would still have to bring Aya with me, however, I think it could be worth it. Adam seems to be in better spirits with me which is good, I missed his smiles. Now for the image overload. These begin with my first day with a new camera, I am still figuring it out, but getting there.
