Testing 1..2...3....

In my spare time I thought I would jump on to the blog bandwagon. That's code for you may only see one or two postings here in the next five years, but I will do my best. The Babies B are 8 weeks old today and I haven't even been able to update my journal since they were born. In these fast flying eight weeks I have begun to feel like a mom and mostly feel that I am testing my powers of multi-tasking and sleep deprivation. I was never great at multi-tasking, but I don't really have an option now. The babies are great so far, adding new vocabulary to my repertoire... words like craptastic, poopilicious and rocket poo. Everyone asks if we are on a schedule yet and I can't say that we are, we are more of an on demand family....feeding, burping and changing hopefully happening right before major meltdowns and explosions. When people ask how I am doing I use words like surviving or "I am hanging in there". The babies are starting to have awake and cool with it time. Bibi is checking out his surroundings constantly and is unwittingly "playing" when he bats his arms into the toys hanging from his jungle safari play mat. Iman is less happy to be awake if she is not either snuggling with someone or eating. So it seems Bibi is more chill and Iman is more about having someone at her beckoned call.
